Not sure about everyone else but over the years loading different software on my laptop and workstation my boot times are getting slower and slower. Below is a idea about going into your MSCONFIG and look at the Services and Startup tab to try and fix this.
Turning off what you don’t need on start-up can help Windows start faster. To get to this feature hold down the Windows Key and press R, now type in MSCONFIG and hit ENTER, this will open the system configuration window. In the Services tab, check mark “hide all Microsoft services”, this important because we don’t need to accidentally turn off any Microsoft services that are important.
Now you can uncheck what you don’t need to have at boot time. Understand you might need to test this a few times to make sure everything is working ok.
On the Startup tab you will see applications that will run automatically after you start Windows. Uncheck what you think you don’t need at boot time and again test this and adjust if needed.
Hope this helps in speeding up your boot time with windows… Jarod
